ignition problem?
hey guys, got a little problem here. when i try to take off with my car it shakes and it sounds like the exhaust pops a little bit.its almost like when you take off with a manual car and let the clutch out too quickly and it shakes and sputters. at idle the car sounds a little off, but i doesnt miss. however, when i take off it sounds like its missing when its shaking, and the problem is the worst from 1500-3500 rpm. my friend suggested a bad ignition control module. any ideas?
thanks,
dave

Dave,
Sounds like it could be a timing problem. I would check that before you buy anything.
FYI... I replaced my ignition control module about a week ago and it costs about $35 at Autozone.
Good luck!
