hey guys ill give u a quick run down of whats goin on
i got a 1969 ss elcamino rebuilt motor thats all i know about the history of the motor ( its a 350)

i am having a problem gettin it to start
everytime i start the car it makes a grinding sound
i put shims on it and it ****ed my flywheel
so now i have my car at the shop ( its too cold to do a fly wheel)

so no my car is sitting over at the shop and the mechanic cannot figure out y the starter is such a problem

im thinking about breaking down and buying a 2002 transam ls1 flywheel and starter to match and see if that works
because this is getting rediculous

please give me some feed back i want my baby back

 

the sound is more like a clank rather then a grinding
