need a FSU
My fuel pump seems to have died. Does anyony know where I can get a new (new) FSU so that I can just kill 2 birds with one stone (my fuel gauge has not worked for as long as I can remember. I have heard that no one makes this FSU aftermarket... any soluntions to the never functioning gas gauge?

Yeah, there is a relay on the drivers side firewall for the fuel pump. At least, there is on my 89. There should be a mount with three relays on it and If I remember correctly, the fuel pump relay is theone in the middle. I think.

Can you confirm on that Fuel relay? My haynes does not note its exact location, and there are three of them (unfortunately, changing the relay that I thought would be correct did not work.

The fuel pump relay should be in the middle. That should have nothing to do with your fuel gauge. The sending units are EXPENSIVE. I work at advance autoparts and I looked it up. 350$ for the sending unit.
I need one also...after 1/2 tank the gauge no longer works. But until I can find a cheaper one I'm just gonna have to drive it as is...I've done it for almost 2 years.

You can't go wrong with a junkyard, most of the time. Thats definately your best bet....sometime Ebay even has a couple. You may alos want to check online for some aftermarkets or remans.

Im hoping the sender on this 84 carb pickup I have works. Since Im gonna use it and run an external holley fuel pump.
If it doesnt work no big deal Im used to it.
