Any Ideas??????

OK, I may have a big problem.
Last night I leave work, and my car is frozen, so i go in, get some de-icer, then pull on the handles, even get a prybar (ouch) but anyway neither of the 2 doors will open, im not even sure if its unlocked, 1 of the doors i know is locked, ive tried de-icer, and a slim-jim, even putting a liter to the key for a while for a while, anyway, now usually for this car when you do something to the handles the inside lights come on, but they don't anymore, so i may have busted both the handles, anyway of getting in short of breaking a window?? Its getting towed into a heated garage tomarrow morning, so I'll know by the afternoon. if the handles are broken what do I do???
By the way this is for an '89 Grand Marquis my winter car, and there are no switches in the trunk to unlock the door, and there is sheet metal behind the back seats, so Im not getting in through there.

All help would be appreciated

Did it just snow there? Sounds like the doors are frozen shut. This happens to my Z every once in a while in the winter. One time they froze so bad that I crawled in through the hatch, tried to beat them open from the inside, and still couldn't get them open! My guess is you won't have a problem after it's been in the heated garage for a few hours. To prevent this in the future, get a tube of dielectric grease, or something like it, and coat the rubber sealing that goes around the door. It won't solve the problem entirely, but it helps.

Got the car defrosted, and the handles are busted, luckily a guy in the auto place at sears used some pvc to go throught the trunk vent to pop the rear door open, better than breaking a window. the door handles inside work so its not the opening mechinism, both of the front door handles are gone, any idea how hard these are to replace??
For the first time, thank God for 4 door cars

My 83 SC used to do that before I replaced the weatherstripping on the doors. What I did since I was at a friends is boil water and dump that down into the door (since some of the weatherstripping had cracked away...not sure how good for the car this is but it worked! The weatherstrip was $70 for the pair from gm and a body shop charged me $50 to put it on.
