How to get rid of A/C?
I would like to remove A/c since i never use it. I have t-tops and i live in the area where the temp rarely goes above +15c in summer time. Winters are long and cold.
Anyway, how do i get rid of this stuff? IS is hard to do and can somebody tell me in point for what to remove?
Will that cause any problems with the computer?
Thanks.

This is a good question. What I've heard and seen is to just rip everything out and cover the ends of all the wires. There is an idle pulley that goes in place of the compressor. The computer won't feel any pain since it doesn't have any sensors on it nor does it control any of it. Only thing the computer does and I'm not even sure if it does is control the second fan to turn on when the AC is on. But I think that's hardwired (should be). Really you shouldn't have much trouble with it.

I'd also like some advice about how to do this, I have been considering doing it when I do my cam swap in January

I did this - all that you have to do is get the AC delete pulley from the dealer then tear all of the junk out. Make sure that the freon is gone before you do this - that stuff can kill. I cut out the condenser (?) from my heater box, then covered up the hole with fiberglass. Cleared up a lot of the clutter in the engine bay - and shaved a couple of pounds as well.
