was replacing a bulb in my taillight today, and when i opened my hatch i heard a big metal on metal pop, well i found out what it was, the spring inside of my hatch release popped off, and i cant figure out how it goes back on, please help asap

 

Wow. Twenty or more people have looked, but no one can help? Have you searched the archives for "hatch pull down" with any luck?

 

no luck, but i luckily fixed it, took my truck and went to the junk yard, found a pull down motor studied it, went home and set up the spring myself, works better now then before... but thanks for all the help
