Dart Bare Castings??
Hey guys, I am saving to buy a set of Dart IronEagle heads. I want the ones with the 64cc chambers and the 200cc runners. Now Assembled they are $999.90. Well I started looking at the price of the bare ones and there only $589.90. So I started thinking, I could use the springs, retainers, locks off the heads I have now, then I just need to buy valves and seals. Valves are liek 60 bucks for intakes and liek 60 for exhausts. Now this comes out to be alot cheaper. So my main question to you guys is this, With the bare castings do I have to get the valve seats machined or do they alreayd have a 3 angle on them? Also same with the valves? Thanks guys and any input you have would be great. Thanks

All depends on who the supplier is.
All the new bare castings we get need to be machined.
Valve job, chamber blend etc, etc. The valve guides may even need to be installed.
Again , it depends on who you buy them from.
