Bolt sheared off
In the flange of my Edelbrcok driver's side header. LOL It sticks out about 2 inches. Any tip to get it out ? I tried the double nut idea, vicegrips and that's about it. Any other ways to get that sucka out w/out using a torch or cutting off then drill it ? THanx

not sure i fully understand what you're trying to say, but if there is enough bolt sticking out to get vice grips on try a pipe wrench. maybe weld a nut on the stub and use a wrench, plus the heat will help break things loose. good luck broken bolts suck about as much as stripped threads.

ChanNelLock 410G pliers will remove it. Don't use "regular" water pump pliers or Peterson Vise-Grips - they won't grab the bolt anywhere near as well as the 410s. I've actually won bets using these pliers on "stuck" bolts and parts. If it can grip it, you will either get it out or break it more.
As a last resort, get out the center punch, drill, and tap. Exhaust flange bolts are not super critical for location, so a few thou one way or another is no big deal.
