Distributer hold down.

I am trying to adjust the timing on my LG4 and can not loosen the bolt to turn the distributer. The intake is in the way in the front, and the heater hoses and some wires are on the side. What tool are you guys using to get to that little SOB. Thanks.

I got a distributor wrench from a local auto parts store. Its an oddly bent thing, but it fits in that space perfectly. Any good store should have them.

I just bought that special wrench last week. It was a 9/16", but your car might be different. It didn't really help me because the hold down bolt is frozen. Before I got the special wrench I was able to squeeze a box wrench in there, but it was a pita. If you can't find the wrench, you could try that.
