Coil Binding vs. Max Lift Question?

How many thousandths of an inch or clearance should my valve springs have at max lift to pevent coil bind. The heads I'm thinking of purchasing are rated to .600" of lift. What is a safe lift I can run? Or what is considered a safe margin or error to prevent coil bind?

Thank you in advance,

Aaron

From that link I got this:

" This means that when the valve is fully open there must be a minimum of .060" clearance between the coils of both the inner and outer springs. "

Does this mean on a head capable of .600" of lift...I should go no higher than .540" to maintain coil distance?
