Looking for a convertible camaro.....

I checked autotrader.com and cars.com and no luck. Preferably would like a black, white or teal 3rdgen, but will also go for a V6 4thgen. Looking to spend no more than $6000. If this post doesnt belong here then delete it but I don't know where else togo. If anyone knows a better place to look or know of any for sale please let me know. email: plmullin@bellatlantic.net

Check the classifieds section. It's pretty good. It is where I found my formula.

Go back to traderonline.com

Click on "Collectibe cars"
Then search. I found about 7 camaro convertibles doing this last week.

I wouldn't say it's impossible, but you will probably end up paying more than $6k for one. Granted i just paid $6800 for my 92 Z vert, but it needs a few little things, and i was good at talking the owner down cuz i knew so much about these cars.
Just keep looking and one will pop up. Keep in mind that verts are among the rarest of thirdgens, and also the sweetest. If most vert owners are like me, they don't plan on ever parting with 'em. Just look at people's sigs, verts are usually part of someone's 'stable' of cars.

btw, i found mine on autotrader.com. I lucked out and found mine close, but you might need to expand your search area due to how rare they are. You're trying to find one of a few thousand cars, of which few are probably for sale. You'll have a lot more luck searching a couple hundred mile radius than just looking in the tri-state area. And taking a ride to get the right car may be your only hope.
