What is the equation to find compression ratio and where does each variable come from?

Do a web search on "Compression Ratio Calculator", not only will you find plug-in ones, but also the explanation for each detailed item (on nthe better calculators)

off the top of my head....

dsp=(1/4)*pi*bore*bore*stroke/60(to converto cc's)

(Displacement cc+head cc+gasket cc+piston cc+deck cc)/(head cc+gasket cc+piston cc+deck cc)

I would try the online calculater it'll save you time and headaches....
