Adjusted the minimum air and now rpms go up when I slow to a stop!!
It's an '89 L98 with mods listed in sig. I adjusted the minimum air according to the posts and articles on this site and now as I come to a stop the rpms drop to about 750 and then rise to about 950 and then drop back down to 750 before the car actually comes to a stop. Are the TB blades too far closed at idle now or to far open?

sounds like with those big gears you have (I have 3.08's myself) your tranny is just downshifting to first when you see the RPMS jump to 950. mine does this too and I think I should get a tranny flush anyway. this problem is very evident on cars with tall rear end gears like stock 80's mustangs. if you listen when one slows down you can actually hear the rpms jump and the tranny downshifts.
if this doesnt seem to add up in your situation then please disregard.
all in all it sounds like every other 3rd gen ive ever driven though so as long as the idle is steady when youre stopped I wouldent worry about it.

Good analysis. My '86 TA does the same thing when downshifting at stop sign approaches. Always has.
If the car idles without hunting while standing still, you're probably O.K. If the idle is hunting while standing, then you might still have a IAC or TPS issue.
