92' police alternator on my 85' 305?

Hi all,
Here's my dilemma...with my March 2 pc. pulley set (overdrive alt. pulley) my 105amp stock alt. is not putting out the juice that I would like. I have a 120amp off a 92 Caprice police car (big case) that I would like to install. Does anyone know what mods are needed to use this new style alt. on an older car? Thanks!

I agree... I have an 89 L98 IROC and with my radar detector being plugged in all the time, my amp in the back powering my subwoofers, and my under drive pulleys, it just doesnt charge very well. I am seriously considering changing to a 92 B4C police alternator. Is it a direct replacement in an 89 IROC??? How easy/difficult is it to put this in my car?
