drum to disc install?

ok so on my never ending quest to get 3.73's in my car for less than 600 dollars total has lead me to this, Found a rear end with an eaton posi and 3.73's. i know i can swap in the rear no problem, what i need to know is Is 500 a good price for it, And how hard is it to convert to rear discs.....what parts are needed....

Does your current axle have discs, and the replacement has drums? Or is it the other way around? Or, do both axles have drums and you want to install rear discs?

It will make a difference as to what parts you already have and what you'll need.

i've never shopped for one but i'd suspect you can find a disk rear from a 4th gen for less than 500.
