hp question

Has anybody here ever had their stock carbed 305 dynoed? Just wondering if GM underated them or not. Thanks.

I highly doubt GM underrated the LG4.

Depending on which 4 barrel LG4 you have the numbers are as follows.
155hp 245tq
165hp 250tq
190hp 240tq 305 HO

These are engine numbers not at the rear. I believe if you are stick you take off 15% and auto 20%.

Some people say the L69 was underrated but trust me, the LG4 wasn't. I had one and it sure didn't like moving.
