I need a shop to do a valve job on a Toyota 22R when I pull the head to replace the head gasket. Anyone have any good references?

Good to go RB. Thanks. Are you missing the warm SoCal weather? I'd rather be cold and back east myself...

Ummmm.... yeah..... I've had a couple of projects in LA since I left (got transferred) but haven't been back to SD county. I rather miss where I lived, which was right near the Carlsbad racetrack, where I could see the ocean from my house....

Oceanside. Good grief! I lived there in the late 60's when I was stationed at Fort Ord--same Oceanside?

Nope, that's up by Montarey (sp?). This Oceanside is down by San Diego and is owned by the Unites States Marine Corps!
