Anti-freeze leak inside the car?

I have a 1992 Trans Am 305 TPI with air-conditioning. I just discovered an anti-freeze leak inside my car on the passenger side. It’s leaking from under the dash and onto the carpet.

What could the cause be?
Heater Core?
Is there anything else under there?
How hard is it to fix?
Can I stop the leak by turning off the heater?

Thanks, Mark

Yeah.. definately heater core. Mine decided to break rather drastically in my Z and it dumped probably over a liter of antifreeze into the passenger's side. My car smelled like antifreeze for the longest time.

when my core decided to puke, I had about 2 inches of fluid on the floor, in one night. man that was bad, avery 10 miles the "FOG OF DEATH" would spurt out of the defroster vents and fog up the glass.

Whoah nelly, check the hoses leading to the heater core leads in the engine bay first. Once I had my hoses a little loose, the water was leaking between the hose and the core leads and entering the car past the firewall seals. Sure would have been mad if I'd torn the dash apart and purchased a heater core.
