one last fuel pump question

Transmission: 700-R4
that's really not recommended, although I've heard it might work. The problem is that the electric in-line won't be able to pull enough through the in-tank one at higher rpms. I don't know anyone that's tried it though. You could get a Mallory 3-port afpr from summit and use the in-tank pump if you just need to reduce pressure.
