I've read somewhere that the SLP headers won't fit alot of aftermarket heads. I have stock L98 cast heads on my 88 GTA. I'm strongly considering a head change but I'm very concerned with the SLP headers bolting up properly. What does everyone with SLP headers have for heads...any suggestions.

 

All aftermarket small block Chevy heads should have the holes drilled the same for exhaust manifolds or headers. The only problem may be with spark plug alignment. My SLP's clear the angled plugs easily on my ZZ4.

The best thing to do would be to call or email companies you are considering purchasing heads from. My suggestion for heads would be the AFR 190s or 195s depending on your application.
