Help! Need oil pressure sender P/N...

Hi guys, just got a new sender P/N 14036243 for my oil pressure gauge. Is this the correct P/N? Gauge now displays 20 PSI regardless of engine RPM (no variation with engine speed).

Did you clean out the mounting hole before installing the new sender?

Tried to get it cleaned out as much as possible, but you never know...

I will have to pull it back out and investigate with a decent gauge. The engine has no knocks or noises so I suspect a bad gauge rather than worn bearings. I've never had one that reads the same hot and cold, regardless of engine RPM. Only other explanation could be a stuck relief valve in the oil pump.

Hooked a mech gauge up today and oil pressure is A-OK (30-35 PSI hot idle, 55-60 @ 4000 RPM.

Factory gauges SUCK!
