Hydraulic Lifter Identification
How do you identify lifter types. Old lifters were hard to push plunger in to prime w/oil. New lifters are very easy to prime. I am wondering if they are variable duration lifters. Came with cam bought on E-Bay.

The old lifters where difficult to push because they were filled with oil.
Take one apart and put it back together and it will be just as easy, if not easier to push in than the new lifters.
