Yup. All the ones that Comp and others list for the 87-up motors accomodate the factory retainer. Although, the thrust button is pretty easy too. That's what all of us that have been building roller motors for all these decades before the factories finally caught on are accustomed to use.

Be aware though, that not all cam blanks with the stepped nose have the mechanical fuel pump eccentric...
