I don't get it.

I read alot of posts saying that their L03 car is running low 17's to high 16's stock. I didn't have this problem...and I've been wondering why...

When I bought my car it had 134k miles on it and it actually ran pretty bad (so I thought). First thing I did was bring it down to the track and see what she had... 16.1X @ 8X.XX (don't remember exactly. So I went back home and started and normal tune-up and a few mods. It ran a best of 15.29@91.4 after the mods listed in my sig.

I mean...I can eat up stock 4.6L mustangs all day long (usually due to a bad driver and an automatic tranny) but still...??
Is it possiable that I have some sort of factory freak, or maybe someone changed a few things that I'm not aware of...? Maybe someone put some 3.73's in it? Maybe a shift kit too? Or maybe, doubtful, someone swapped a 350 into it?

I'm just wondering why my (should be stock) L03 is running such great times? (note the best time was ran at 158k miles)

Anyone got any imput?
Or should this post just be deleted?

I wouldn't say a 15.29 is a "great time".

Well, I didn't either...but compared to all the other stock L03 I see....it is a "great" time. (compared to most others)

Maybe its cammed.

It's all speculation until you open the engine for a rebuild (which you'll need eventually).

Thats what I'm thinking...

I'm not gonna rebuild the motor...I've got a 406 on the way

I've always been curious why my L03 is as fast as it is stock.
