My speedometer and odometer just stopped working. I have had the tranny looked at and the gears are fine. I heard that the speedometer/odometer cable may be the problem but I can only find information on pre-90's camaros having these cables. I have a 92. Am I looking in the wrong place or are they controlled by something other than a cable after 90? If you could point me in the right direction(possibly a link that sells the part I need) that would be awesome.

 

Your speedo is not cable driven.Sounds liek your VSS is bad.Check your fuse panel for a blown fuse also.
