IROC Dead I Think....FELP ASAP

Well as I was waiting for the arrival of my starter another thing seemed
to pop up. My car won't move right. At first I thought maybe the clutch
went, or worse the rear as I heard a slight whining noise from the back.
Then I noticed my revs. It won't rev right. I popped the hood and revved it
by hand. It stumbles and hesitates HORRIBLY. It will hold an idle, but the
engine shakes heavily. The oil gauge goes from about 20-30psi and bounces
between that during idle. Does anyone have any ideas? TIA

Let me add a couple of more things. The only code I have is a MAF code. I
tried pulling the plug on the MAF but the problem persists. The car now
doesn't even stay on. There is either very little or no response from the
accelerator pedal. Check engine light is not on. When I start the car, it
shakes hard and sounds like something is banging around near the engine.
Then it dies. I need to fix this ASAP. FELP is appreciated as always.

Sounds kind of like the fuel pump dance of death... it's in the gas tank and makes strange whining or screeching noises sometimes as it gives up the ghost, and of course the engine runs terrible at best when it's severly fuel-starved. I'd start there, maybe get a fuel pressure gauge and check the pressure at the fuel rail with motor off and key on; it should come up to 45 or so, and bleed down very slowly (like a pound a minute or less) when you turn on the key. If of course you hear funky noises from inside the gas tank when you turn on the key, then there's only one possible conclusion.

I hope your gas tank is mostly empty.

Nope It's not the fuel pump. There is a brand new AC Delco unit in there. I know it's a PIA to do lol. But it definetly is not that.

You say it's making noise?

If it quacks like a duck...

Maybe you will have a valid warranty claim of some sort.
