Which cam for my 350 - XE268H or HE268H?

Basically i would like to know what the differences are in these two cams. My car is going to be used as a summer daily driver. Here's what i am thinking for the rest of the motor:

-350 bored .030"
-forged 9.5:1 pistons
-Vortec heads
-1.52 roller rockers
-Performer RPM intake
-670 street avenger carb (good choice or no?)

What would be your estimates for HP and TQ numbers with these two cams? thanks for any help/opinions!!!

Conner

I'd say the XE268H. The High Energy cam just has less duration and lift. If you only drive it in the summer, you might look into the XE274 cam, lots of people have had sucess with the same combo you're running.

I would use the smaller HE 268-10 for a daily driver.
I would buy a 750cfm vs carb for this motor.

Should make about 375 crank hp. The larger XE268h-10 will make about 10more peak hp but will loose low end response. Unless you have a 3000stall converter go with the smaller cam.
It ( HE-268-10) will be better on gas too.

I used a slightly smaller generic cam grind in my very simular, old 350vortec motor. It worked very well.
