Questions on 91 Camaro RS

I have just recently bought a 1991 Camaro RS with a 305 motor. Does anyone know about what the original hp was for this motor? Also, does anyone know where I can find weatherstripping or any of the rubber for the t-tops? All the dealers have told me that they don't carry nor will they order the item. (Its the piece right above the driver side window, about an 1 1/2 wide and the length of the window long.

Thanks!

Try 170hp and about 255 on torque.

The weather stripping can be found in the following magazine but it isn't cheap! They have some excellent selection of almost any part you need for our 3rd gen cars and 4th gen except a few discontinued parts but they are working on those.

All thirdgen 305 TBI engines are 170 HP and 255 torque.

Soft Seal makes weatherstripping for our cars, along with other companies I cant think of right now.

I don't think you can generalize and say "all 3rd gen. 305 are 170hp and 255 torque."
But for the 1991, you can.

Actually Adam, Kevin is right. They were all rated at 170 HP from the factory. Unless you modify something, that's what they're supposed to produce. I'm pretty sure they used the same camshaft on all TBI cars from 88-92.

I didnt say "all thirdgen 305's", I said "all thirdgen 305 TBI's". There's a difference. All stock TBI engines in all thirdgens, whether its a base model, IROC, Trans Am, etc, are rated at 170 HP and 255 TQ, from 88-92.
