code 35

my car threw SES last night, first time it's ever thrown a code. pulled it this morning, code 35. my paper says 35 is an IAC fault. i've replaced my IAC before, and i just pulled and cleaned some carbon or wqhatever off it, and it looks like new (i know, that doesnt mean anything) but i was just wondering if a code 35 could mean anything else? or is there a way to test the IAC before i go blow another 20-30bucks?

According to https://www.thirdgen.org/newdesign/faq/thirdgen.shtml code 35 is an "Idle speed can not be set to desired RPM". Is your engine idling higher then normal, may be a vacuum leak.

if you think you solved your problem then you should disconnect the ECM power source for 5 minutes to let the stored codes get cleared. Otherwise they will still remain, even if fixxed.
