Guide plates make more noise ?

I just put afr heads on my car and went from self aligning rockers to non-aligning with guide plates my question is there is alot of ticking noise i think its my rocker arms not adjusted right but i was wondering if guide plates would cause more noise or ticking?

if they're on there right, they shouldnt add any ticking.

its probly your valve lash.
