Head Lights Not Comming Up

I've replaced both relaysfor the motors and no luck. You can hold the headlight switch half way in and the lights will come up with ni problem. I tried a new switch and no luck there either. Is there another relay I'm missing?

Skip,

There is a master, or "isolation" relay that controls both individual actuator motor relays. I had a be-otch of a time finding the relay on a Fiero, and have never looked for it on my TA. I'm guessing you'll find it in the driver's footwell area.

The circuit looks like this:

If you find the relay with the correct color wiring, you've probably found the isolation relay.

If you raise the actuator(s) with the hand *****, do they try to immediately retract? This would indicate that the individual relays are functioning correctly, and the master/isolation relay is suspect.

Yep! If I put them up manually they'll go back down if I don't disconnect the relays. I'll start digging for the isolation relay. Thanks too for the diagram. I'll definatly be adding it to my ever growing notebook on my baby!

Are you saying that there is a grand total of three or four relays for the entire headlight system? I've found only three, but I bypassed them all.
