my friend has just ordered a 274 duration, 502 lift roller cam for his 89' l98 with alum. heads.. only other mods so far are K&N's and a airfoil, coming along after the cam we were lookin at heads ported and polished and a freeer flowing exhaust.. now my question this cam still seems a bit radical for this setup.. any opinions/suggestions?

 

seems pretty big to me, and you'd need to have screw in studs and larger springs, i'd say you'll have problems with the knock senser too

hrmm any suggestions of what cam to go with.. i tried talking him down to a 262 duration cam with about .430 lift...
