OK, I was planning on building a 400 Engine this spring. I'm pretty new at this so my dad and my friends were going to help me. Today I came across an article in GM High-Tech Performance Mag. It had an article with a '92 RS with this engine, T-56 running 13 Sec with 4.10 rear. Since it is efi, still a very daily driver kind a car with a god amount of power. Anyone have this engine? know anything about it or any opinions about it? Also I belive it was a type of port injection a MEFI3, whatever that means, anyway ,any opinions about this engine?

The MEFI 3 controller is a stand-alone digital fuel control system that works exclusive of the vehicle ECM. It was offered as a control system on the RamJet engines to enable retrofitters to install PFI engines in older cars and roadsters, as well as newer cars whose ECM can't deal with sequential injection.

If your pockets are deep, you might consider the 502 RamJet crate engine - then again, who would want all that 510 HP engine in a ThirdGen?
