Quick Question

Is there any difference between the Chevy 305 and the Pontiac 305? i herd that the starters are on opposite sides, is that true or are they both the same engine

i hope your not asking about the difference between the thirdgen camaros and the thirdgen firebirds cause people are gonna start to call you stupid, but its cool, it was a dumb question but i ask them all the time.

No as far as i know they are exactly identical.

Engine: 355 with stuffs.
Transmission: 700R4
Axle/Gears: 4.10 Posi
If you are asking the 82-92 305 used in firebirds and camaros is any different, NO, it is a small block chevy engine. If you are talking about a pontiac built engine, then yes they are different, but you wouldn't find one in a thirdgen from the factory.
