I know a guy that's got like 1000 LT-1s sitting there, and he's selling them for DIRT cheap...apparently, they've all got like 100k on them, but they're dynoed...what should I look for in a used LT-1? I really don't want to spend money on an engine that's gonna crap out as soon as I get it in...so any info could help. I believe they were in police Caprices before...I have no idea if the harness or ECM comes with it...thanks again for all your help, guys!

If you don't want it to break, don't buy one with 100k on it... IMO.

 

What do you mean they are dynoed? Do they come with a dyno sheet? If it comes with all the accesories and wiring harness go for it.
