GMTech,Vader, all COOLING FAN GURUS help..
my fans wont come on, i put back the stock fan switch, the fuse is good, replaced and checked relays. jumped the fans and they turned on so the motors are good,, unplugged the fan switch and grounded it and 1 relay ticked. put in a new coolant temp sensor.
my question is what are all the components that make the fans turn on, or in my case not turn on????

Ron,
Possibly the fusible link for the fans. Check the schematic. It's for a single fan, but is similar:

I would suspect the fusible link. Also check the connections at the relay. Grab, pull, and wiggle the "big" wires at the relay while it's engergized.

Ron,
I'm not sure on your '87, but my '86 TA has the fusible links near the battery and positive power node mounted on the inner fender near the battery. The fusible links are a smaller gauge of wire installed in the power distribution wiring. They are usually easy to find since there ae large black rubber insulated crimp connectors along the wire where the links begin and end. Look for a big slug of rubber molded around a power wire.
