bad plugs

Hey i pulled a plug off a motor, and the top of the plug was coated in carbon/ oil. What would cause oil to be getting to my spark plug? A bad valve guide maybe? O yeah and the other 7 plugs are PERFECT.

bad tune up, maybe that holes dead for some reason, like a bad wire.
