No Heat
No Heat
In the last couple of days, my heater has quit blowing hot air. It only blows cold. Also, the car is running hot. It almost overheated yesterday. Is it just the thermostat, or something else? Thanks for any help.

You need to check to make sure your coolant passages are free. Check to make sure your thermostat still works properly, pull your heater core out and have blow compressed air in one tube and see if it comes out the other, check your radiator, flush the entire system. Make sure you do it the right way, go out and get one of those flush & fill kits... they're cheap (like $3) and effective. Check to make sure there is no debris on the front of the radiator, that your fans are working properly, and that you have the proper mixture of coolant/water.
