Just a general guess as to if I could get the HP needed to hit mid to high 13.'s at 100-103mph. The combo is 9.6 to 1 compression, 350C.I., Edelbrock TES, 3"exhaust, 204-214(.420-/442) cam, 1.6RR, Dual plane aftermarket Holley intake, 650cfm carb, S/R torquer 305 heads, (1.94/1.5 valves). Heads have 350 combustion chambers just the valves are angled a little different to not hit the 305's tiny bore. 3.42 Gears, posi, 215/65/15 street radials.
Hmm... YOu might want to rethink the heads a little bit. I think those 305 heads will hold you back. Also 215/65/15 street radials? If you are going to be making enough power to push into the 13's then you are going to need some wider tires or some slicks because you will have some traction problems.
I'll post results, the cam is one I had when I was going to build up the 305. The heads are obviously too. Whatever I get out of it I'll be happy, because I never did a build-up before. The tires are also because I just needed replacements. That was right before I ran across a 2000 3.8M5 stang with 4K miles on it for $13,995. Now that I have a daily driver I can afford to tinker with my bird
. In all actuallity I doubt I can hit mid 13's too, but I do think I can get some 13.9's at near 100mph(97-99mph). Well see though. Thanks for the posts.

Also, Madmax could you suggest a good machine shop that could get my heads flowing some good numbers? With bigger valves and all. Would the combustion chamber size go up much if I did this? I wouldn't want to lose compression.
