The LT1 cam almost interchanges into 89-92 motors. All you have to do, is to drive the dowel pin back into it a ways, or cut it off.
Stock centerbolt VCs will not fit over any roller rockers except Crane narrow-bodies, which are also sold by GM (being the only ones that fit). Personally I would not recommend using them in a street application because they are aluminum.

according to lingenfelter performance, they use comp cams hi-tech stainless roller rockers for all their centerbolt applications. they fit under the valvecovers with a slight midification (die-grind off a small amount of the supports on the inside of the cover). i've also heard comp pro-magnums fit. and scorpion makes a narrow body roller rocker too. i know there are probably many others that will fit as well with only minor modification.

I'm looking at the CCA-1318-16 rockers also.
The info that I can find just says self aligning....not that they fit stock valve covers. ?
I my case they don't have to..... just thought I'd bring it up.
And what is bad about alum rockers? Durability? I'm not up with the info on this even though I've read this for a while.
The CC rocker arms do look pretty bullet proof.
