Need quick fan help...
Im at work and have to stay late sooo... on the way in my fan stopped working. the only tool I have in the car is a wrench, ugg.
I need to know 2 things:
Does the fan have a fuse?
To bypass the relay, which 2 wires do I jumper?

easiest way to is to wire it direct to the battery ,only takes a few feet of wire.

I've found that the relay often dies. Depending on what year/engine combo you have, the you could have one or two relays and located in different places. I have an 86 Z that is carbed (one elec fan), its relay is up on the firewall in on the passenger's side. You should be able to unplug the harness from the faulty relay and jumper across two terminals on the harness (they'll stay on all the time) for a quick fix. If you have two fans, I'm not sure, but you may be able to the second fan to kick on if you turn on the a/c. If that doesn't work, turn on your heat to full blast/fan on high. This will help a little. It all kind've depends on how far you need to go.
If most of your drive is on the highway, you should be okay once you get up to speed on the highway due to the natural flow of air across the radiator.
Unfortunately I'm in the middle of moving and have all my reference books packed up and my Camaro is gone, so I can't give you much more on the details.
