Is the chevy engine zz430 anything good to get. They told me take it push 430 hp. is this true. I thinking about building one. And put the new ram jet on it, with fast burn heads, and hot cam. What do you think . please help.

I'm slowly but surely doing that very thing myself! I need to get the rods, and have the machine shop put the pistons on them, and I'll be putting the shortblock together.
I would really like to get ahold of a set of those awesome looking valve covers that they had on them though!
I'm budgeting about $3000 for all original GM parts, and machine work on a '98 truck 4-bolt main block that I paid $150 for.
Good luck!

Working on:
'84 Z28 LG4 305 with 200,000 original miles!
Added dual elec fans.
145 MPH IROC Speedo
Building 430 HP 350
using primarily GMPP parts.
Block is STILL in shop! (Waiting for my to buy the rods!)
