Does anyone know how to modify cenerbolt valve covers

Hello,
I have a 88' 305 TPI motor with 88' corvette alluminum heads. The motor is currently on an engine stand. I just orded a set of comp alluminum roller rockers for the corvette heads which came with a 3/8 stud. The tech department at TPIS told me to either modify the valve cover( grind someting) or just to add another valve cover gasket to my existing one to make clearence. Is he yanking my chain or do i need to modify. The best way to answer is if any of u guys have a pic of your modified valve cover dont forget center bolt. So please post a pic thanks

When in doubt, CUSTOMIZE !

sorry guy, I just think some of your questions are a little odd for someone who claims to not be confused.

Basically the answer is that you just do whatever it takes to make the valve-covers fit when you go to put them on. It may take dimpling, grinding, or stacking gaskets.. whatever floats your boat.
