Are Manley pistons good?

How are Manley pistons?
There's the sportsmaster series, which is a little heavier but less expensive.
And there's the platinum series , which is more $$ and available in 2 choices, the 2bbl class and 4bbl class.
The Manley pistons don't seem to be as popular as their other parts are, why is that?

Well... thanks for any comments

THey are among the best. Some no-screwing-around parts. No chinesium to be found there.

Price just about any of their stuff, and you'll see right away why they're not "popular". It's not because they're not good.

Nice, so would the platinum series 2bbl class pistons be good for a n/a street machine?
If they were used within the limits stated in their description.

if your building a n/a street motor, i would look into a cheaper piston, like a speed pro power forged pistons or something along those lines.

A cheaper piston strictly for the cost, or is cheaper in some way better in this case?

I've been looking at Manley cause they offer a forged 14.6cc D dish that would be right for my 383, also they're lightweight.

Could you show me a link that lists Speed Pro and shows the weight as well?

Thanks
