Hey my 82 and my dad's 90 is leaking power steering fluid. The 90 is leaking much worse, as it is now empty after a week and a half. Is their a common problem with these? Or a simple solution?

Find the leak and repair it. Don't half-a$$ it.

Usually it's a line.

Take it ti the quarter car wash, clean it up, and see where it's coming from.

I've got the same problem. It's leaking, but my mechanic and I couldn't find it. we cleaned it off a few days ago, so now maybe we can trace the leak. Very true: clean the power steering area and then see what you've got. i'm suspecting that a seal in the steering sector might have gone bad, so when it expands/contracts it's leaking. do know for sure though, yet. it is a good idea to fix the problem rather than putting in stop leak. but i can't really say anything b/c i use the stop smoke in my oil b/c i can't afford to fix it right now.

It could be that the pump seal is leaking. Clean it up and check it. Also, if you replace it, do the whole unit w/reservoir. If you change just the pump and use the old reservoir they tend to leak again IMO. Pay the extra 10 bucks and get the pump with the reservoir. Just my 2 cents.

Does power steering fluid harm an asphault driveway? I have been parking in one for about a month now and tomorrow I am going to take some fantastic and a towel to try to clean some of it up.
