3 engine code guys, please help!
How's it going guys. I just had a friend put my engine back in my 89, completely rebuilt. It's now 355 ci with 10.25:1 compression, fully ported vette heads-with EGR delete, Lt-4 hot cam (218/228 dur at .50,112 lob sep.), 1&1/5 tes headers, ported edelbrock manifold&plenum, stock runners, performance resource chip, AFPR, 2400 stall convertor, and a straight pipe that goes into a flowmaster muffler. Now the problems: I'm getting a code 21(tps is set too high), a code 32 for an EGR error, and a code 45 (rich exhaust). The car was idleling alright the first one-hundred miles, around 750 rpms. Now it seems to die at every stop and sometimes while taking off from a stop the car runs very rough. The TPS has been set to .50 at closed loop, I haven't had it checked it at WOT yet, what should I look for here? Also, what should I do about the EGR, since I'm using the vette heads that block it out? My other code is 45, for rich exhaust. I have the PR set at 46 psi, what do I look for here? Oh yeah, the timing on the new engine was originally advanced about 4-5 degrees and was running a lot stronger so we backed it down quited a bit, because of some spark knock. I don't know if that would have anthing to do with the problems or not. I'm going to have my prom sent back to be custom programmed by P. Resource, but I just want to find out a little more info before I send it back.
If you get the chip reburned make sure they take the EGR out of it. 1 down. The rich exhaust might be a bad o2 sensor or it might be from no cat or if you disconnected the air injection equipment which you didn't mention. The best for you to do would be to hook it to a scanner so you can see you're o2 count and the TPS number, you may have pinched a wire or have a bad connection which can throw of the reading the computer gets. Hope this helps.

What size injectors do you have on it? If you went with a bigger injector, you might have gone too big which could cause the rich exhaust code. If that's the case they can fix it when they program your chip. When they program your chip they can get rid of the EGR function which will cure that code. With the TPS, you might wanna set it again/verify that it's set properly. The TPS sensor might have gone bad.

Thanks for the help so far. Right now, I have the stock injectors. I also have all the EGR emission junk hooked up and the water pump seems to be making a lot of noise. My friend has a scan tool and I'll have him reset the TPS again tomorrow. What numbers should I establish for a baseling? What numbers am I looking for?
