How much power did an 82 Vette 350 make? My friend got a 350 block, heads, and cam brand new from Checker. He put his 305 intake and exhaust on it because he couldn't afford to replace it at the time. So what kind of power numbers do you think he's lookin at?

What kind of intake is it? I seem to remember the word crossfire back then....
The power is going to be limited by the cam Checker used, and the intake manifold, whatever that is. They probably stuffed a peanut cam in there, so its making less than 220hp, probably more like 200.

 

The origional Crossfire injected 350 was rated at 200 HP.
