ok i got an 87 camaro i need to know how to connect the starter i didnt take i t apart so i dont know how to put it back. can any of you pleawse help

wire with small terminal lug goes on small post marked "S". Wires with large terminal lugs go on large top post. Tang from starter goes on bottom large post.

Do you have a purple wire there? That is the one that should have the small terminal lug. And if you don't have one with a small terminal lug, then you will have a bad connection.
