Oil pressure sensor wires

I'm in the process of trying to put the original oil pressure sensor back in and I can't find the wires! What color are they? I'm sure they were cut because EVERY other plug on the harness was cut off when I bought the car. I just want my gauge and choke back!

If its a carbed car, it should just have one wire, a brown one from the driver side harness.

Really? The sensor that was in the oil port had two terminals. Now I'm starting to wonder just what engine I have in the car. I noticed that the AIR tubes in the exhaust manifold seemes to be in a different loation than the other Firebirds I've looked at. (the rear tubes are on the side, not the top). Also, the pre-heater tube thingy (technical term ) for for the air cleaner is on the passenger side, not the drivers side.

Sounds like you have mix+match there. Have fun

Theres a 2 wire sensor that was used on the FI cars in 85, it was for the fuel pump. There was a second sender that had one wire (brown) that was for the gauge.
Whats the 8th digit on the VIN?

I'll have to check the VIN when I get back home. (I'm on deployment for another month) I do know it's a VIN code H in the windsheild for the motor. There's also what seems to be a pretty large sensor with a single terminal down by the oil filter. Knowing the kid I bought it from, he probably put a truck motor in it or something. Who knows, maybe I'll get lucky and it's a 350!
