how much power opinions

Hey yall. I need some help gettin some approximate numbers for my new engine. I have neither a dyno nor software, so i figure you guys could help out. heres what im runnin...

82 z-28 with a bored out 305 equaling 311.6 cubic inches. Its got an edelbrock 650, victor jr single plane intake, roller cam specs- 316 duration at .475 lift for intake and exhaust, heads off of a 92 caprice cop car, heads have been cleaned up with minimal porting. compression is about 10:1. IM running a blaster 2 coil with MSD 6a ignition. I have headman headers going into a y pipe then 3 inches back to the flowmaster. Thanks for the input.

Justin

If you can double check your cam specs or maybe tell me what cam it is I'll check it on DD2000 for you.

With desktop dyno i got 315hp and 276tq. It be helpful if you had some info from the cam degreeing so i could enter the exact valve opening and closing points.

I think the duration you gave might be a little high. Are you sure thats the right number?I tried a cam with a less duration than yours and got much higher numbers. 370hp and 370tq.

yup those are the right numbers. that cam was in it when i got it. It was built to have decent gas mileage down low i suppose. Can you try the previous setup, but with a performer rpm, dual plane intake and a comp cams 280H? i just bought those this weekend. Hopefully that will get those numbers up a bit, and into a more usable rpm. Thanks
